"Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.”

Who we are

The Story Behind Myndlab

Where science meets humanity, and change becomes sustainable.

Hello, I’m Victoria. Thank you for visiting my page.
For years, I watched capable, thoughtful professionals push themselves harder, chasing goals that looked successful on paper but left them quietly drained inside.
Despite their commitment and intelligence, lasting change, whether personal or organisational, seemed elusive. Teams completed programs, leaders attended workshops, individuals set goals… but after the initial spark, old patterns returned.

It wasn’t for lack of effort.
I became fascinated by a question: What makes one person thrive under pressure while another crumbles under the same circumstances? Through my work and my own self-reflection, I realised the answer lay in the mind itself, in how our patterns, beliefs, and capacities for self-regulation are wired.

What science calls “neuroplasticity”, “mental toughness”, or “resilience” is not a mysterious gift. It is something that can be understood, developed, and sustained. My curiosity deepened during my own experience of burnout.
Like many high achievers, I found myself questioning the meaning of what I was doing, feeling the quiet pull of meaninglessness that can drain even the strongest.

It was in that moment that I recognised a deeper truth:
When people reach the edge of burnout, depression, or even despair, they often voice the same word, “meaningless.”
Whether we realise it or not, humans need a sense of meaning to anchor us.
Meaning builds resilience. It can give us the strength not just to continue, but to live.

That insight became the foundation for Myndlab, a framework that unites science and soul, grounded in Self-Determination Theory and Existential Psychology. These two pillars explain not only how transformation occurs but why it matters.

  • Self-Determination Theory highlights the intrinsic drivers that make change sustainable from within: autonomy, competence, and connection.

  • Existential Psychology, inspired by Viktor Frankl’s meaning-centred work, reminds us that growth requires direction; we must align with what gives life its significance. Science provides the structure. Values provide the soul. Together, they create meaningful change.

Myndlab was founded on the belief that transformation is both an art and a science. It’s a process that blends evidence-based tools from behavioural and mindfulness-based psychology with human warmth and compassion. It’s for those who want more than quick wins; who want to live, lead, and work with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Because sustainable change isn’t just about what we achieve.
It’s about
who we become in the process, and how we continue to grow, long after the program ends.

What is Coaching Psychology?

As coaching psychology is still relatively new to many, I’m often asked what it actually means.
So, I thought I’d take a moment to explain it here.

Coaching psychology is a field of applied psychology that grounds coaching practices in scientific research and behavioural science.
It explores how individuals and groups can perform, grow, and sustain well-being through greater self-awareness, motivation, and emotional agility.

Drawing from disciplines such as cognitive psychology, positive psychology, behavioural science, and social psychology, it integrates research with practice to create meaningful and sustainable change.

As a coaching psychologist, my work is guided by these principles and the ethical practice of a Psychologist, ensuring that every engagement is grounded in both scientific rigour and human connection.
This means every coaching process is evidence-based, ethically informed, and tailored to the unique patterns, values, and aspirations of each client.

The discipline is formally recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). I am an Associate Member of SPS.
